Hi all, In our farm we are planning to install DocAve replicator V6. Our farm is having 2 WFE servers 2 App servers and a cluster db. In the user guide it is given that we need to install Docave manager in any one of the WFE server and Docave agent can be installed in both the WFEs. After the installation of Docave Manager we will be receiving a Pass phrase which will be required while installing Docave agent. My doubt here is since we are installing Docave manager in only one wfe server we will be receiving only one pass phrase. Is that be sufficient for while installing Docave agent in both he WFE servers. Please clairfy.... Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve, This forum is not an appropriate place to discuss the configuration and implementation of third party tools. AvePoint has a number of support options available. That said, on page 21 of the DocAve 6 Installation Guide (PDF) it states: Agent Authentication Specify the Manager Passphrase generated when completing the DocAve Manager installation. If you forget the passphrase, you can view it by navigating to DocAve > Control Panel > General System Settings > System Options > Security Settings. For more information, refer to the DocAve 6 Control Panel Reference Guide. This implies you will use the same passphrase for all agent installations. This is similar to the SharePoint farm passphrase that is used to join and remove servers from the farm (perhaps this inspired AvePoint).
