Redirect to a custom error page/report if there is any exception in a report
Hi, I have some SSRS 2005 reports published on report server. I want to know if there is a way to redirect the report execution to some other report (say an ERROR report which shows a custom error message)if any execption occurs in the report execution.

Thanks for your reply. But the link gives information on handling exceptions in the report from code when calling using the report server web service. But I have SSRS reports which are published to report server and I am opening the report from there itself. Now, if I get any error in the report while execution, for e.g. the session time outs or any other error, I see the error on the report. I want that whenever an error occurs in the report execution from report manager, I am redirected to another report whichdispalysmy customerror message. Is there a way to handle this ? - Rajni

has anybody found a way to customize Report Manager Error Pages in ssrs 2005 or ssrs 2008? I think this is NOT possible on Report Manager. I built my own Report Manager and I found a way to catch ReportViewer errors . Alexei Cioina
