Rebooting SCCM 2007 Server
Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue with my ConfigMgr server this morning, I'm still a bit new to it. It appears the backup task had an issue, and some of the services didn't restart properly overnight. When I look at the ConfigMgr Service Manager, many of the
services are listed as 'Starting".
I'm thinking that rebooting the server would cleanly bring things down, and then back up. Is that a good approach? And is there anything I should do before rebooting the SCCM server (Such as stop some services, etc)?
Thanks in advance :) sorry for the newbish question.

Hi,
Just restart the server, you don't need to stop any services first.Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

Thanks to both of you! Things seem to have come up cleanly, so I think we're in good shape :). I'll monitor the server to make sure.
I looked around google and this site, and didn't see anything specific that needed to be done before rebooting the server, but I wanted to make sure ;). Thanks again!
