RMS server Reboot
Hi All, We have 1 RMS and 2 MS server. we are planning to reboot our RMS server . the downtime is 30 min. Please tell me the procedure to reboot and i need one more the down time is 30 min i during the downtime if any alerts triggerd would we get those alerts once server is up?

The MS will buffer any received alerts as well as events and performance data. There's a limit, and if it's reached the oldest items will be thrown out, but you'll receive the alerts once the RMS comes back up

Also, make sure you DO NOT put the RMS into maintenance mode. I repeat: DO NOT PUT THE RMS IN MAINTENANCE MODE . Depending on the size of your environment, a 30 min downtime shouldn't be too bad."Fear disturbs your concentration"

Hi Thanks for the reply. In addition to this i have one more question. we have email notification and BEM connector . AS you said we will get the alerts once scom is back. can you please tell me would we get those delayed alerts to BEM connector

Yes, all workflows will begin to process data once the RMS comes up, which includes connector data.
