RDP stopped working

Hi

SBS 2011 std.

VPN/RDP was working perfectly. Then I set 'Maximum password age' to 90 days (from default 0) in GPO. This caused the Admin password to expire which I reset to a new password. As far as I can tell that is the point since when I can still VPN OK and ping the internal server ip fine remotely but using RDP gives below error;

I have run all the wizards; connect to internet, vpn, fix my network etc but no luck.

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Regards

Hi,

Have you tried to restart the device after changing password?

And I want to confirm with you that if you try the remote connection by Remote Desktop Connection on client computer, or access Remote Web Workplace and then click Connect icon?

To verify that the listener on the Remote Desktop server is working correctly using netstat tool:
On the Remote Desktop server, open cmd, and type netstat -a then press Enter. Confirm that if the entry for TCP port 3389 is Listening.

Detailed information you may reference:

If the problem persists, open Event Viewer and confirm that if any related event has been logged. Does this problem only happened on specific client? or user account?
