RCDC XML question
Was following the example in the Introductions to RCDC configurations document and assumed that the following statement pulled the description from the PhotoCaption attribute description I entered when creating the attribute. Same for Display Name :my:Description="{Binding Source=schema, Path=PhotoCaption.Description}"No errors appear, and the text box shows up on the create user, but no display name or description show up. Here is the example XML I created using the document. See anything wrong? <my:Control my:Name="PhotoCaption" my:TypeName="UocTextBox" my:Caption="{Binding Source=schema, Path=PhotoCaption.Displayname}" my:Description="{Binding Source=schema, Path=PhotoCaption.Description}"> <my:Properties> <my:Property my:Name="Required" my:Value="{Binding Source=schema, Path=PhotoCaption.Required}"/> <my:Property my:Name="Columns" my:Value="34"/> <my:Property my:Name="MaxLength" my:Value="128" /> <my:Property my:Name="Text" my:Value="{Binding Source=object, Path=PhotoCaption, Mode=TwoWay}"/> </my:Properties> </my:Control> Thanks for any help

I believe that the Description value must exist on the binding, not the attribute, so make sure that the description property on the PhotoCaption binding is set.Brad Turner, ILM MVP - Ensynch, Inc - www.identitychaos.com
