Hi All, I have a requirement where a manager needs to give access to a resource and fill out a custom form with resource specific attributes. I followed few technet examples in creating contractors resource type. My requirement is simple. 1. Create a custom RCDC form where Manager should be able to search for a user and pre-populate the form with users firstname, lastame, email and add all custom attributes (FIM does not manage these attributes) as free form texts 2. capture all the attribute values in form and sent out in an email. how do I accomplish this? Krish, You will need the following: Extend FIM schema to include custom attributes which you need in addition to what FIM offers out of box Bind these custom attributes to the User resource type Customize the RCDC for the Create User to include all the elements that you need including the custom attributes Create an authorization/action workflow which will send the email with the required data to whom ever needs to receive this information Authorization workflow: if you need somebody to approve the creation. Action workflow: if the email is more of an FYI to somebody. 3. Customize the RCDC for the Create User to include all the elements that you need including the custom attributes what if I have multiple resources? Do I have to use one CREATE USER RCDC? or is there a way to use different RCDC for different resources? Thanks, krish
