R3 upgrade issue.
I have seen it once, when my Site server was running on a Windows 2008 server. It goes thru all the packages and verifies each one of them which takes a "little while". In my environment (100 packages on 5 dp's), it took about 4 hours.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

After R3 upgrade on my Primary site. I notice that during the startup process, Distribution Manager sets the signature and content path URLs for each package on each distribution point. This is taking hrs/days to completed. I already have regkey HKLM\software\microsoft\sms\components\sms_distribution_manager DoNotVerifyDPPropertiesOnStartUp (D_word) set to 1. Any one seen this issue or a way to stop this process? Thanks.

Deleted ResetISAPI.trn present in the distmgr.box on primary site and all is good now.
