Hello, In your case, what's credential you specify for the data source? Please ensure that the account have sufficient permission access to the database. When you create a data souce for the report, you can click the "Test Connection" button to verify the connectivity. thanks a lot bin long, I guess i got the issue, while connecting to management studio I was connecting locally and when it came to report builder I was trying to connect to server; I had access to server but execution time out of server was not set to higer number as my local machine was. report runs fine when i run locally. regards, P M-S
