Publications Library
Running SP 2007. We have a publications library that holds regulations and policies. These regs and policies required review almost every year. What I want to do is to be able for our publications clerk to see what publications are coming due for review
120 days, 90 days, 60 days and 30 days out. If possible using a color code that will highlight any publication that is with in 60 - 120 days out in yellow and those that are within 30 days in red.
I'm thinking about creating a column called Pub Date, but is there a way to populate another column with a calculated value based on the Pubdate field such as DateAdd(yy, 1, Pub Date).
OR is there a better way.
Thank you for any advice.

Hi Robotop,
As I understand, you want to try to distribute the documents in the library based on the “Due Date”
column.
First, the solution to distribute them using color code is feasible. But you have to design the Data View Web Part using SharePoint Designer 2007. You can edit the
Conditional Formatting and apply different style to it.
Here is a demo:

Second, there is an easy workaround. You can create different views for the Document library, and use “Filter” to filter the documents. For example: you
can create a view, whose due date is less than 30 days as following:
[DueDate] is less than [Today]+30.
