Hi,

Is there a possibility to automatically provide (NOT install) security and cricital updates to systems.
ADR installs them automatically but I just would like to make them available for some servers so we can trigger the install during a maintenance window.

Please advise.

ADRs can indeed only be deployed as required, but normal software update group deployments can be deployed as available. If you want to automate a process like that you should be looking at P

That would have been a great solution but you cannot set it to more then 12 months.

Thanks, but you still have to trigger the powershell whereas we want to do it ADR-way but just no automatic deploy. Is that feasible?

Or you could configure a maintenance task that runs the PowerShell script after a specific event.

If you really want to use an ADR than you need to create a deployment, but in the general tab you do have the option to not enabled the deployment. Do keep in mind that if you do enable the deployment that it's still a required deployment.
