Hello,

We are running SharePoint 2013 Enterprise edition and have created a standard team site and have added in Tasks and a Calendar. We are now wanting to add the Project Summary Web Part but when I click on Edit > Insert > Web Part > Content Rollup (which is where I think it should be) there is no sign of it.

Is that web part available on all site templates or does there have to be something done to the site to get it?

Typically about 5 minutes after posting this I had a flash of inspiration and went into Manage Site Features options to discover that there is a site feature called Project Functionality that when activated automatically adds the Project Summary web part to the home page of the site.

I had the same problem until I enabled:

"SharePoint Server Standard Site Collection Features"

and

"SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features"

Site Collection features.  I can now add the Gantt and project summary web parts to any page I want.

I have all the said features enabled, but still unable to find the option to add 'Project Summary' web part to my pages.

My organisation is using Office 365 and I am experiencing the same issue. I have enabled the Project Functionality and am still not able to add another summary web part.
