I just recently discovered that a number of our Project 2010 Updates are no longer getting updated to SP2
Under further investigation, the update is nowhere to be found.
Am I crazy or was this never part of WSUS?

it never was.
What you need to be doing, is applying the "Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2687455)", which contains the SP2 bits for Office suites, Project, Visio, etc.
