My sharepoint user profile import (from AD) does not run via the scheduled time, but only runs when manually initiated in the shared services provider by clicking "start full import" or "start incremental import". When manually run, there are no problems, but the schedule job does not run at all. This job had run without issue for the last year or two, and the issue seemed to begin a couple months ago. We import user accounts from AD. Any suggestions? Also, I've deleted and recreated the import connection, i've updated the times when the job runs, i've also tried changing the domain account which performs the import from the sharepoint search account to the central admin account. no dice...

Nothing in the event viewer, and I also enabled ULS logging and don't see anything obvious in there.
