Process Monitoring - msaccess sessions
Hello, I created a "Process Monitoring" from Authoring > Management Pack Templates > Process Monitoring for msaccess.exe on a specific server. - Monitor whether and how a process is running ( for process you want) - Tageted to the server - Generate an alert if the process run longer than the specified duration: 1 days - Generate an alert if CPU usgae exceeds the specified threshold: 50% - Generate an alert if memory usage exceed the specific threshold: 10 % - 3 samples - 10 minutes All the sessions opened when I created the monitor are in from 1 to 16 but not the new ones msaccess#21 etc... how to get the new sessions with higher number than the one at the creation time? Hi. I don't think the template can use wildcards, but you can use a WMI monitor. Select * from win32_process where name like "msaccess%" should get you started.Layne, 2011 Microsoft Community Contributor Recipient

but there is no filter in my tenplate I am using msaccess.exe as is for the process name... and this has worked for 18 so far ... so I thibk the issue is more on the timing for the generation of alerts as to day I even got #20 ...
