Problems with table shifting from page 1 to page 2
I have created a report in RS 2005 that is landscape and when rendered to PDF, it is 3-5 pages depending on the data. I have a group of tables aligned side by side to display the data, with a transparent rectangle to place the page break after. The first page renders perfectly, but starting with page 2 and onward, all the tables move up about a half inch so the cells at the bottom of the page get cut in half and are split up between pages. I have the headers displaying on every page, so that helped a little because it use to move upward a whole lot more if the headers were not there. If the tables did not move, then the bottom cells would remain the same and look just like page 1. I've tried everything and I'm at the end of my rope and ready to tie a knot!

Hi, Given the situation that you are using SSRS 2005 and the PDF format is a hard page break rendering format, I am afraid that the only work around you can try is to adjust the rows height and the Top/Bottom Margin. For more information about the page layout in Reporting Services, you can refer to: Understanding Pagination in Reporting Services Hope this helps. Regards, Mike Yin

Thank you Mike. I'm thinking that's what I have to keep working with...the margins and table placement. Unfortunately, my file got corrupted and I have to recreate the entire report. So, I guess starting over again will allow me to lay it out differently so that it works. I'll let you know if it works afterwards. Patricia
