Problems deleting last remnants of redundant custom schema
Hi. I'm cleaning up a lab environment for deployment to UAT/Production and I'm running into difficulties (Access Denied errors - but no reason to go on) when trying to delete the last remaining bindings and resource types. At this point I've double and triple checked my configuration, but can't determine what's preventing me from being able to delete the Resource ID (ObjectID) binding for the 7 remaining custom Resource Types that are no longer required. I have been able to successfully eliminate the bindings for other custom attributes/bindings/resource types ... and have been able to delete all the OTHER attributes of these 7 resource types - but not ResourceID. The only clue I am working on here is that these resource types were at one stage synchronized from a staging directory via the FIM Sync Service ... although I have managed to remove all visible evidence of this connection from the sync service configuration. I've already gone through the process of cleaning up any associated EREs, but these were all orphaned anyhow (no Parent Resource ID references), so now I'm going to turn my attention to the MA DATA and MV DATA ... but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas? I know it's not permissions because the correct permissions granting MPR is firing for me (logged in as a FIM administrator). TIABob Bradley, www.unifysolutions.net (FIMBob?)
