Problem with selecting all parameter values
Technology SQL Server 2008 standard I have a parameter dataset in a cascaded way. The parameter values shown are correct but not automatically selected which I require. My parameter is named @par2 and linked to @par1 via the where clause. All the values in the parameter list are shown well and constrainted by the @par1. But I want all of these values shown to be automatically selected, this is not the case. What I did is select the dataset of @par2 to be the default value dataset, in this way the values should be automatically selected, but it seems like while the values are refreshed, the default dataset isn't refreshed.Business Intelligence professional

You can set default value to @par1 and also @par2 with the From Query option i.e same dataset with value field name.Nanda - Misys Software Solutions,Bangalore

Thank you. This is exactly what I have done (from query) but the weird thing is, the new values are shown in the picklist but they are not selected automatically. Even when I put the always refresh option to on.Business Intelligence professional
