Problem with reports
Hi!
I have SCE 2007 installed on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 x86. I get the same error with a lot of reports I try to run. For example when I run the Microsoft Generic Report Library / Availability report, the following error appears on the screen (a popup windows):
Cannot execute report.
Value of '01.01.0001 00:00:00' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'MinDate' and 'MaxDate'.
Parameter name: Value
Additional Information:
Date: 20.08.2007 19:11:10Application: System Center EssentialsApplication Version: 6.0.1251.0Severity: ErrorMessage: Cannot execute report.
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value of '01.01.0001 00:00:00' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'MinDate' and 'MaxDate'.Parameter name: Value at System.Windows.Forms.DateTimePicker.set_Value(DateTime value) at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Reporting.Parameters.Controls.RelativeDateTimePicker.LoadRelativeDateValues(ComboBox dateEditor, DateTimePicker timeEditor, ReportParameterInfo dateBaseTypeParameter, ReportParameterInfo dateBaseValueParameter, ReportParameterInfo dateOffsetTypeParameter, ReportParameterInfo dateOffsetValueParameter) at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Reporting.Parameters.Controls.RelativeDateTimePicker.LoadValues(ReportParameterInfoCollection reportParameters) at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Reporting.Parameters.Controls.RelativeDateTimeBusinessPicker.LoadValues(ReportParameterInfoCollection reportParameters) at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Reporting.Parameters.ReportParameterBlock.LoadValues() at Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Mom.Internal.UI.Console.ReportForm.OnRenderingCompleteJob(Object sender, ConsoleJobEventArgs args)
There are no error in the event logs, the reporting services seem to work fine, and all the reports which are links from the SCE Admin console (like Health Report, Group Status, Group Update Deployment Status, and so on) works perfectly with no errors.
Does anyone has an idea where to digg to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Lubo.

I solved this issue.
The problem was with the Short Date Format !!! Originally I had changed it to match my local date format (dd.MM.yyyy) but when I returned it to its defaults ( MM/dd/YYYY ) all the reports started to run Ok without errors.
Hope that help someone too.
Lubo.
