I downloaded SQL Server 2012 SP1 evaluation to install it on my SCCM server for my lab. I launched the setup and it passed the prerequisites list, next it proceeds to product updates interface where it does completes the updates if any and before it could go to the next interface it closes by itself. No idea why it is doing like this, though I could see the application still running in task manager window. 

Any suggestions please ?

I have not experienced with this issue, but have you checked that SQL Server has SP2 version, what does it return
