Problem while publishing file in PAS 6.3 at windows 2008 server. Except administrator no other user are not able to publish file. it is giving the following error."An error occurred in the application: An error occurred while uploading the file to the server. WebDAV may be disabled on the server". Please help us

I face similar issue. My Proclarity website is uses https, ssl and Basic authentication. Publishing of Reports is fine. however no one is able to publish files on to PAS.

it is giving the following error."An error occurred in the application: An error occurred while uploading the file to the server. WebDAV may be disabled on the server".

Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this

Here is our setup

Windows 2008 R2 server

IIS 7

Pas 6.3 with Sp

Proclarity and PAS 6.3.x are not fully compatabile with the new Windows 64-bit OS's (Windows 2008 R2 is only 64-bit). And since Microsoft has deprecated this product and is going to stop official support for PAS at the end of 2011 itrs hard to see how this will be properly addressed any time soon if at all.

If I were you, I'd take a look at the new products that have surfaced recently to take over from Proclarity. For example check out Pyramid Analytics. Their application (which comes i a native 64-bit version) leaves ProCalrity/PAS in the dust! Best of all it feels and works like ProClarity and is backwards compatabile with Proclarity content - so its a smooth upgrade path.

File Publishing should work on Win2k8R2 and webdav over https - we tested it last week.  You'll need to install/configure webdav though.. Please refer to the steps in this link:
