Problem in sccm 2007 client actions

Most of the clients in my environment ( native mode) are  having only 2 actions in the Action tab of the SCCM 2007 client.

I tried the client reinstallation, eventhough the problem is persist.

I tried to regenerate the SMS GUID , it got renewed, but the actions tab alone not having all actions.

As of now it has only 2 actions , Machine policy and user policy.

I could not see any errors in locationservices.log as it is pointing to the correct MP. In clientidmanagersetup.log, i can see that the client is registered. Apart from these logs, I dont see any errors in client logs.

Could any of you please help me in this regard.

2 actions, means that the client isn't getting policy. there are many possible causes for that, but, since you mentioned native mode, perhaps you should check that your certificates have not expired, as a first step.

Thanks for your reply.

I have been found 2 weeks before that the site server signing certificate has expired on its primary site server.

But, now it is been renewed.

However, I noticed that the SMS_POLICY_PROVIDER component on primary site is in critical. It has the following error

Error: SMS Policy Provider has failed to sign one or more policy assignments. It will retry this operation automatically.

Is this the problem for the client in getting the policies? If so, how to resolve this issue and what cause

Thanks for your reply Don,

Now the primary's SMS POLICY PROVIDER component is working fine.

But, the issue is still persist that the client is not getting the remaining policy as the Action tab only has 2 policies..

Please give me some solution for this....

are you boundaries correct? have you reviewed the logs on the clients to see why they don't see the policies?

have you approved the client?

99 % clients are showing as NA in approval column , ( FYI, We have native mode environment)

and I couldn't find any errors in client logs, locationservices.log is showing that it is pointing to the right server. and the client certificates are also valid.

Boundaries are included correctly in the primary sites... I used the below command to fetch the site name and I got the info.

   nltest /server:server_name /DsGetSite
