Problem in Audience on Sharepoint Sites
Hi,
We have installed this patch from MS http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978055 on Active Directorate machine.
Since that Sharepoint is not able to filter my Webparts , my Navigation Bar based on audience defined in AD.
Let me take an example, I'am part of the Distribution List "Administrator" defined on Active Directorate , i have a webpart on my home page that i 've filtered that only "Administrator" could see.
The Webpart is invisible for me although in Active Directorate I belong to this Distribution list.
Any issue for this problem.
Thank you for help

Hi,
When you add the members to the AD group, SharePoint need know you have updated the AD group.
How does it know this?
SharePoint get the information of Audiences from
the user profiles in “Shared Service Provider”.
So when you updated the AD group, you have to start incremental import or full import.
For your case, try to start incremental import or full import for SSP user profiles.
Hope this helps
Thanks!
