Problem exporting bar charts to pdf
I'm having a problem with a barchart that occasionally ignors it's sizing. Each row of data is using the same barchart and I want the charts to always stay the same width no matter how many lines of text there are in that row. I've got the PointWidth set to 1.75 and have tried various setting combinations with no luck yet. I can change this by changing column and report widths but the problem will just switch around to different questions. The charts look fine in Preview mode. This only displays in Print mode or when I export to pdf. Has anyone else seen/solved this problem or have any new ideas of what I can try?

If I understand correctly, you have embedded a chart into a table cell and when you print, some of the charts change sizes. If that is correct, the problem is that when you add a control to a tablix (table, matrix or list) cell, it docks to all 4 sides. Anything that alters the hieght or width of the cell, such as text wrapping, will cause the control (chart) to grow as well. A work-around is to add a rectangle to the cell first, then add the chart. The rectangle allows the addition of other controls without docking the control. Please Mark posts as answers or helpful so that others can more easily find the answers they seek.
