Problem adding additional simple Browser permission users.
I’m having trouble adding some plain ole Browser permissions for some new users. Everyone is using IE and the existing users are in the same domain and also have only Browser permission. Today I made some small formatting changes to the report design before I added the new user permissions so I could have broken it somehow I guess. The only good clue I have is that the users who can see it are challenged with the logoff dialog only once but the new users report being challenged twice. The second time the caption reads log on as a different user. Is there a setting that limits the number of users? What else might be causing this?HomeCookN

Hi HomeCookN, Thanks for the question. Generally speaking, if you just edit the format type of the report, it will not affect the permissons of the users. For this problem, please check if you grant the users just system permission or just item permission? Actually, both level permissions need you grant to the users. This is one MSDN article, please reference it: Tutorial: Setting Permissions in Reporting Services Thanks, Sharp Wang Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help you and unmark them if they provide no help.
