ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3 reports giving cube could not be found, Professional connecting properly.

This setting was working before and we had our ProClarity reports showing up through MOSS 2007. Our DBA wanted to change SQL Server and SSAS accounts to be running through a domain account instead of the 'Local System' account. Once he made the change, all reports got messed up. So, he reverted them back to use 'Local System' account and now none of the reports are functional through PAS. They are all working through desktop professional.

We have 3 servers -

1. Moss 2007 [Windows 2008 R2]  -  All services except WSS Timer running under 'Local System', Timer running under Domain account.

2. Database Server [Windows Server 2003 R2/SQL Server 2005] - SQL Server and SSAS running under 'Local System' account

3. PAS 6.3 Server [Windows Server 2003 R2] - PAS application pool running under Domain account, PAS virtual directory has no anonymous access checked, both 'Integrated Windows Authentication' and 'Basic Authentication' checked.

SPNs are all setup properly. Domain account is 'Trusted for Delegation with Kerberos Only when connecting to any service'.

I have a utility setup on the PAS server to test if Kerberos Delegation will succeed and everything is checked GREEN.

If anyone has any idea why my reports may not be working while directly referencing from PAS server or on the MOSS 2007 server, but is functional through Proclarity Desktop professioanl, please send a reply. Also, if anyone knows about any utility that I can use to test PAS configuration issues, please let me know.

Thanks

It might be issue with PAS account access issue with database.

Phew! That was lucky!!

As you may know, Active Support for ProClarity 6.3 ended on 10th July 2012, so if this had been caused by a Windows update causing ProC to stop working, MS would not provide any fixes to ProClarity!!

To address this, take a look at Pyramid Analytics. A painless ProClarity upgrade path, reusing all your existing ProClarity briefing books and reports, but with a 21st century architecture and Office 2010 look and feel.
