Hi, I have created SSRS 2008 report using MDX. The report works fine without any problem but when i preview the report it shows three additional parameters called "Not Used" I haven't declared this parameters. its not showing under parameter list also. can anyone point me in right direction that how this parameters got created. Hi, Are you using Query to get parameter values or you have hard codes list of parameters? IF you are using some query to get the parameters then check your query which is returning values for this parameter. Thankshttp://sqlage.blogspot.com/

Thanks for reply. This is the actual problem. i haven't created this parameters and they surely are not from any of the datasets. This two parameters are not shown in Parameters list also they just come in when i preview the report. How can be two parameters with the same name exist. The two parameter shown in preview are named as "Not Used" and automatically the values is also passed to it called "Not Used". Dont know from where this parameters are getting created. Thanks

Hi SSASStarter, I suspect that the two parameters may be created previously, and those parameters are deleted from report at a time, but don’t deleted completely from XML file. I suggest you can open the XML file of your report, and try to find the two parameters which are called as “not used”.
