Prerequiste checker failing
Hello guys, hope someone can help or has seen this before. Ive followed numerous guides and read the documentation for the prereqs for SCCM 2012, however everytime I run the prereq it kicks up numerous errors I cannot seem to resolve: The Microsoft Remote Differential Compression (RDC) library must be registered for Configuration Manager site server installation. - I have already installed the Remote Differential Compression feature on the server A site server or site system role is already installed on the computer selected for secondary site installation. Remove the site or site system role from the computer, or select another computer for secondary site installation. - This is a clean install of Server 2008, no previous installs at all on it :S The WIM filter driver is currently running on the SMS Provider computer. This will prohibit setup from installing the new version of Windows Automated Installation Kit. Uninstall the Windows Automated Installation Kit on the SMS Provider computer. Reboot the SMS Provider computer to stop the WIM filter driver. - As with the above, a clean install of the OS so there is no WAIK installed already. Has anyone encountered these problems before and been able to resolve? Ive already rebuilt the server 3 times to try diferent things.MCITP Windows 7 Enterprise Administrator

Hi, As this is still a SCCM 2007 forum I would recommend that you post the question on the Connect forum for SCCM 2012 here: There you can also search old posts if someone already had the same issue. Regards, Jrgen-- My System Center blog -- Twitter @ccmexec

Hi there I'm currently facing the same problems (RDC Feature installed but not recognized / WIM Filter Failure but no WAIK previously installed) as you descibed in your post. Since I try to install the SCCM Central Administration Site on a Virtual Server (2008 R2 SP1) if you use a virtual or a physical machine for your installation. Cheers Francois
