Precision T5600 fails trying to partition disk
I have a Precision T5600 with the PERC H310 SATA/SAS controller and a SATA HDD. When the task sequence tries to partition the disk it fails with the below in SMSTS.LOG. Invalid disk number specified: 0 OSDDiskPart 7/19/2012 4:09:42 PM 1228 (0x04CC) CDisk::GetDiskSize(oDisk.getIndex(), cbDiskSize), HRESULT=80070490 (e:\nts_sms_fre\sms\client\osdeployment\osddiskpart\main.cpp,691) OSDDiskPart 7/19/2012 4:09:42 PM 1228 (0x04CC) LoadDiskConfiguration(oDisk), HRESULT=80070490 (e:\nts_sms_fre\sms\client\osdeployment\osddiskpart\main.cpp,1412) OSDDiskPart 7/19/2012 4:09:42 PM 1228 (0x04CC) Invalid configuration specified. Any pointers or tips?

If you are sure you are using the right storage driver you can try to run a diskpart and clean the disk. And then run the task sequence.

Sorry I forgot to mention that diskpart doesn't even see the HDD. Dell's WinPE CAB only has two storage drivers, so I had imported both of those.

Ok if diskpart don't see the hdd then winpe don't have the right driver.

That's what I figured and was hoping somone else has the right drivers, as I can't find any other ones.
