Pre Installed windows 7 on a new 1TB HHD using my Hp pavilion Slimline before installing the HHD in my new gaming computer will NOT BOOT!

I pre-installed windows 7 Home Premium on a new 1TB HHD using my Hp pavilion Slimline before installing the HHD in my new gaming computer build and now it will not boot. First I got a message from microsoft saying something along the lines, "You have install a new processor, let microsoft search or repair or something like that".

I bought the 1TB HHD and windows 7 home premium disc from Amazon as a bundle deal/Sale knowing I had plans of purchasing the rest of the components, (after doing a price comparison first for building my DREAM Gaming computer). Now I already had a Hp pavilion Slimline computer that the HHD was missing and the GPU wasn't working on and I found a fix for which I tried and so I used my new 1TB HHD and the new Windows 7 disc to test it with thinking I could still use the 1TB HHD in my new build...I would just have a HHD with the OS preinstalled and ready for my build. Well I got the Slimline working fine for a few days, (3 or 4 at best), then the GPU went out again so I removed the HHD from the Slimline, set it aside for my build.

"THE BUILD"

I found a decent price at Fry's electronics here locally in Vegas so I purchased the following.

1- MSi Z97-G45...Mother board.

1- intel i7-4790K, LGA1150....Processor

1- Corsair RM850 watt....PSU

1- EVGA 2 GB GDDR5 GEFORCE GTX 960...Graphics card.

1- ASUS Blue-Ray writer BW-16D1HT...Blue Ray disc writer.

1- Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme S dual fan system...CPU cooler.

1- WD Red 3TB HHD...Storage HHD.

1- COENUS Enermax case...cmptr case.

Total cost: $1,446.27 and I think I paid $189.00 for the other 1TB HHD with Windows 7 disc.

I also since I had the booting issue returned to Fry's to get technical advice and to purchase a Samsung 250GB SSD. cost $99.00 so I am in to this new computer for about $1,650.00 and so far is just a PAPER WEIGHT !

I explained my issue to the sales rep at "Fry's electronics" and was told I would need to contact microsoft via telephone to see if they could reset my OS key because of the possibility that windows  wasn't recognizing my copy of windows 7 because of the preinstalled OS on the Slimline with a different Processor, (which originally came with VISTA from the factory btw). Which is my purpose for coming here and to get any help possible...ty

I have also tried disconnecting the 1TB HHD with the preinstalled OS to see if I needed to start the computer with out OS installed for if it needed to boot the new mother board prior to installing Windows 7 and got a MSi screen saying something about going in to the BIOS settings but I didn't want to try that fix until I exhausted any help microsoft could give me before chancing screwing it up further. Can you PLEASE help me..? ty

P.S. Can I have your support phone number..?

Sincerely: 2Stretchy
