Powershell using all available memory

Powershell seems to be going out of control on my DPM machine lately.  It sucks up all the RAM and swap space that it can find.  Currently 4.5GB of RAM and 10GB of swap space.  Jobs are still completing in a timely manner and aren't failing more than normal.

The only change I made recently is to manually specify a larger amount of swap space.  I did this after my Zabbix monitoring was complaining for several days in a row that there was not enough free swap space.  In retrospect this was probably caused by this Powershell goofiness.  But I just wanted to mention that because I know it is an unconventional configuration to manually specify the swap space.

What can I do to troubleshoot this?

This survives reboots and is a continuing problem...anyone experienced something like this?
