Powershell and server 2008
Does the Powershell feature automatically get turned on when installing SCCM 2007 on server 2008?

No.
ConfigMgr does not have a PowerShell dependancy and does not enable any OS feature during installation; however, Server 2008 R2 does by default have PowerShell installed. I don't remember if 2008 did, but I think so.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

If I'm not wrong power shell is an optional component in Win2k8. It's not enabled by default.Anoop C Nair - Twitter @anoopmannur
