Powerquery doesn't Asian language csv problem

Hi All,

Is there anyway to tell Power Query to use UTF-8 Encoding when importing CSV data?

When traditionally import CSV, there will be an option to specify the encoding, but can't find this option in Power Query, or it should be done via coding?

Cheers,

Power Query tries to infer the encoding when you open the file, but it may get the wrong answer. In the column of "Applied Steps" in the editor, the first step will usually be "Source" and there should be a gear icon next to that. If you click on the gear, you'll be given the option to change the encoding.

Same problem here. But when I click in the gear next to "Source" there is no such a thing as encoding options. It only prompts me to choose the file location...

Trying to change in the advanced editor, but it always gives me an error saying that doesnt recognize the encoding I`m typing. And we are talking here of UTF-8 and Latin1...
