PowerView C2WTS Error
In trying to get PowerView working I'm receiving the following error: <detail><ErrorCode xmlns="http://www.microsoft.com/sql/reportingservices">rsCannotRetrieveModel</ErrorCode><HttpStatus xmlns="http://www.microsoft.com/sql/reportingservices">400</HttpStatus><Message xmlns="http://www.microsoft.com/sql/reportingservices">An error occurred while loading the model for the item or data source 'http://gig-portal-tst.ajga.com/sites/bicenter/PowerPivot Gallery/Wp_BusinessV1.xlsx'. The PowerPivot excel workbooks I've tried reside on the local SSAS instance, and the tabular ones are on another machine. I've tried the constrained delegation fixes with no success, as well as using SQL Profiler haven't even seen the PowerView editor hit the SSAS instance at all. I'm at a loss and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Brian_R, Based on the error message, the issue may be caused by the incorrect configuration of Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS). We need to configure these permissions on each server that the C2WTS runs on. Please log onto the server and give the C2WTS the following permissions: 1. Add the service account to the local Administrators Groups. 2. In local security policy (secpol.msc), under user rights assignment, give the service account the following permissions: i.Act as part of the operating system ii.Impersonate a client after authentication iii.Log on as a service Reference: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh231678.aspx Regards, Mike Yin TechNet Subscriber Support If you are TechNet Subscription user and have any feedback on our support quality, please send your feedback here.Mike Yin TechNet Community Support
