PolicyAgent.log GUID entry

Hello all. In many of my client computers, I am receiving the following error message in PolicyAgent.log:

"Failed to trigger policy evaluation for CCM_Policy_Policy4.PolicyID="{64eff92c-4912-43a6-8c9d-9e29f21106d1}",PolicySource="SMS:XXX",PolicyVersion="2.00""

I would like to know how I can find out what policy this is that is causing issues. Every other policy is not producing an error and I would like to eliminate or fix this error if I could. I am running a SCCM 2007 environment. (XXX is the variable site ID) Let me know if you need any other info.

The site may not have a Network Access Account defined.

As per the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2217190/en-us

" Using WBEMTEST, connect to the client's root\ccm\policy\machine\actualconfig namespace and reviewed the CCM_NetworkAccessAccount class (root\ccm\policy\machine\actualconfig\CCM_NetworkAccessAccount). If no instance is found here it can confirm bad or missing Network Access Account data.

To resolve the issue add a new Network Access Account in the Admin console using steps below.  Once clients received the change they should process policy as expected.

To specify the Network Access Account:
1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> - <site name> / Site Settings / Client Agents.

2. In the results pane, double-click Computer Client Agent.

3. In the Computer Client Agent Properties dialog box, on the General tab, for the Network Access Account, click Set.

4. In the Windows User Account dialog box, specify an existing Windows domain user account and password, and then click OK.

5. Click OK."

Rob,

I appreciate the response. I had tried this and both the WMI namespace and the site settings check out. This is the only policy that is having a problem and the rest seem fine which is why I was thinking it was specific to just one policy. Do you think that this error is just referring to a site setting and not a advertisement or anything else that this computer might be pulling down? Just trying to bounce some ideas around. Thanks!

Hmm, have you considered rebuilding the WMI?

Rob,

I had done the repository rename and one of the larger WMI rebuild scripts from online also. This did help alot and allowed me to finally install the client on one computer, and everything seemed good up until this one particular policy started to fail at certain timed intervals.
