Pivot Table Subtotals

We've converted a Pivot Table from SQL Server to look at a SSAS cube. When the pivot table has more than one row field, we could choose a custom subtotal and the 2nd field items would be subtotaled at the bottom of the pivot table. See below. With the OPAP PT the custom subtotal is greyed out. Is there a way to duplicate what a non-OLAP PT can do?

Hi pauldelke,

According to your description, you want to put the 2nd categories subtotals into an OLAP pivot table. Right?

In Analysis Services, it's not supported to combine a NON-OLAP pivot table with an OLAP pivot table into same pivot table. Within one pivot table, when we drag a field into rows, it can't only appear one time. Even we can define the subtotals under a specific grain, these subtotals can only appear along with those level members. So for your requirement, you can only have these subtotals displayed in another separated pivot table.
