Hi all. With - ILM RC0.Using ILM Portal I been created 2 sync rules.1 AD Outbound SyncRule which has precedence = 22 Exchange 2007 Outbound Sync Rule with precedence = 1. Thisrule also was marked for dependency of AD Outbound Sync Rule)When I try to move precendece ofAD Outbound Sync Rule from 2 to 1. I get this message. "Request not submitted" and when I summit the request I get "Unable to process Put message" resulting in change took no effect.Do I need some permission to execute this task?Thks Diego.

If you have set a dependency, then the precedence will be automatic. The AD Outbound Sync Rule will be applied first and the Exchange 2007 Outbound Sync Rule will be applied after. Youcannot really change the precedence if there is a dependency involved. Also answering the permission question if you see something similar in the future. The precedence is an attribute on the Sync Rule object, so if you have permissions to modify the Sync Rule, then you will have permissions to change precedence also. /AndreasThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
