Hi, I am new to Report Services, and encountering one issue when trying to deploy the created reports. I created reports in BIDS 2008 with AdventureWorksLT data, once the reports are created, I want to deploy the reports. I defined TargetServerURL as http://localhost/reportserver/, once click deploy, one error shows:The permissions granted to user 'my user name' are insufficient for performing this operation. Hi Connie Zhu, You need Content Manager or Publisher role to deploy reports on server. Thanks

Hi Phaneendra, I opened BIDS with option "Open as Administrator", then I can deploy the data sources and reports. After deployment, I went to the link http://localhost/Reports, but there is nothing there on the home page. when I search in 'My Subscription' tab, below info shows. The permissions granted to user 'my user name' are insufficient for performing this operation.
