Perflib and PerfNet errors on Application logs

Hi,

On every SharePoint server (all updates applied) we get Perflib and PerfNet errors in Application logs like:

Event ID 2004:
Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.

Event ID 1008:
The Open Procedure for service "WmiApRpl" in DLL "C:\Windows\system32\wbem\wmiaprpl.dll" failed.

Event ID 1008:
The Open Procedure for service "BITS" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll" failed.

Event ID 1008:
The Open Procedure for service "Lsa" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\Secur32.dll" failed.

I have tried grant permissions in registry:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BITS\Performance
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WmiApRpl\Performance

But this does not helped.

Is any way to troubleshoot and fix this?

Thanks

Hi,

As I understand, you get Perflib and PerfNet errors on every sharepoint server.

About the Event ID 2004, you can restart the Server service, then change the Server service startup type. The article below gives you the details about the issue.

About Event ID 1008, you can reload a performance library. The article below is about the issue.

Hi,

Event ID 1008.
I tried all the solutions but errors was still appearing. Finally I have disable performance counters for related services.

----------

Event ID 2004. Unable to open the Server service performance object. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.

This one is still appearing in the event viewer and I can not find related service to disable performance counter. Restarting Server services does not helped. Services is started with automatic startup type.

Any help?
