People and Groups synching with AD
I have inheritaged a MOSS2007 system and have a puzzling issue. I have a site where the people and groups update with new users from Active directory but not with all users. Is there a way for me to see the settings of the sych to see if perhaps an OU or something is left out?

Hi, You need to access your Sharepoint Central Administration, Application Management, Shared Services, and go into the Users and Profiles section to see the Import Connections you have. You will also be able to view profiles, set crawl schedules etc. For more information on the Users and Profiles section, please see this: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263382.aspx Hope this helps Cheers Geoff

Well, I spoke too soon, I did find it but when I try to click on the User profiles and properties I get an Access Denied message. This is a mess. I'm a domain admin and should have rights to this stuff.

Hi boughxb,
Domain admin may not have permission on User profiles and properties, it is normal.
You could click the Personalization services permissions link in the Shared Services Administration site and add your domain account and grant all the permissions.
Then you should have the right the access the User profiles and properties page.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
