People Picker not working while creating site collection MOSS SP2
Hi I have created a new server farm with MOSS SP2 latest release, but while creating Site collection people picker is not working to assign the site collection administrator "User not found" , i searched it a lot and found many posts on this and seems if it is a SP2 issue, but nowhere i found any proper solution. i am faching this problem first time. and i have build server farm one time before too. Thanks Moderator Note: NEVER say something is urgent. If it is you should not be posting here but should be paying for support by for instance contacting MS customer support services.

site collections are created in Central Administration. You said that "actually apart then the site collection creation page i am able to resolve the names through people picker". In what web application you are able to resolve users via people picker? Is it also Central Administration web app or another web app? If it is another web app then compare its web.config and web.config of CA. Check "PeoplePickerWildcards" section - are they the same in both web.configs?Blog - http://sadomovalex.blogspot.com CAML via C# - http://camlex.codeplex.com
