People Picker does not work in two-way trusted domains

Hi,

We have migrated from SP2010 to SP2013. Now we face problem that people-picker can not find user in two-way trusted domains.

Authentication is domain wide.
All ports are open.
We added "STSADM.exe -o setproperty -propertyname peoplepicker-searchadforests..." on one of our environments.

Still no luck. 

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Do the FQDN and NetBIOS name of the remote domain match? Is there a root domain for the remote forest?
