Pc chrashes and primary HDD light is solid red color

My pc has been crashing lately and in an interesting way!?

First everythingfreezes, but you can still move the mouse and try and open folders but it won't do it.

Then after I am forced to force restart my PC, it can't detect boot drive. But after I shut it down and open the case and shufled the SATA data cables (the ones that go from the mother board to drives) and and try and boot it, it boots(but every time I do that it has to be a different order of cables, it has to be a unique combination and I'm slowly running out of them). My primary concern is the health of my secondary HDD, and I believe my power supply is bad or too weak to handle my PC power consumption.

My PC specification:

Motherboard: gigabytGA-H81M-DS2V

CPU: Intel i3 4130 3.4 GHz 3MB LGA 1150

GPU: gigabyte R7 250 OC (1 screen)

RAM: Kingston DDr3 1600 MHz cl11 sr 4 GB x2

Drives: 1. Kingston ssd hiper x 120 GB windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

              2. Seagate HDD 1 TB programs and data

              Samsung. DVD-RW x24

PSU: Spire 420 W

Please help if you know what my problem is. Thank you
