Hi All,

I am trying to create a SPD2010 work flow that behaves in the following way:

1. Set a date (this works)

2. Pause until this date

3. Send an email on this date.

Users will be changing this date manually, however I need the workflow to look at the latest "date" set by the user and fire an email on this date, rather than than the original date.

Is this at all possible via SPD?  I am happy to use Visual Studio 2010 to get this working but I would be forever grateful for step by step process on how I can get this working please?  I've never used VS2010 to create any workflows/event handlers etc. so if there is a solution please could you guys let me know step by step (possibly with code if required) so that I can follow it and get this working?
