Hi Sri, Try checking the views that you have assigned within the SCOM console to ensure that you are seeing all Active Alerts and not closed alerts. Also try logging on to a different SCOM console or Web Console session and see if the alerts are still there. If the alerts have all been generated from the same server agent, then it may be that this agent was restarted recently and the alerts had been closed but not resolved and they now need resolution. Sri, Also try starting the console with /ClearCache What Resolution state is the alerts in? Is it from one specific agent? Check and verify that the time is correct on all servers!mats.w | www.opsmode.com

Try these steps: http://www.bictt.com/blogs/bictt.php/2011/05/26/scom-trick-10-scom-console Perhaps you can open one of the alerts (properties) and check the history tab as well for any entries.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My BICTT Blog) - Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

Hi What Cumulative update are you on? And when was it installed? There is an issue with R2 (pre-cumulative updates) where restarting the SCOM agent caused it to reread the whole event log so if all these old errors being generated by just one server then it might be that an agent has been manually installed and not patched to the latest Cumulative update. Alternatively, if you have just applied a Cumulative update, make sure the SQL scripts were run against the correct database. I have seen issues in the console when the SQL scripts were not run. http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2011/08/03/opsmgr-2007-r2-cu5-rollup-hotfix-ships-and-my-experience-installing-it.aspx Cheers GrahamNew SCOM 2012 Blog! - http://www.systemcentersolutions.com/blog/ View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/
