I have a report with a parameter. When the user clicks on the report they supply their windows credentials to logon to the report server however I want to pass that username to the parameter in my report so that they only see certain data. Is this possible? I do not want to use a web application to do this. Mike

ssrs has a built-in field called UserID. It gets populated automatically when the user logs in to report manager. you can use it in a hidden report paramenter to filter the report contents. Check under report properties/parameters. you'll find it there.
