HI i had a requirement ,before i start on it i just want to confirm it , i want a report output in pdf by giving the input parametrs in an exe file from sql server reporting services 2008 r2, i had my templates build using the BIDS 2008 ,what i am trying to do now is to pass the parametes from an exe ,after passing the template has to generate the report and i hhave to get the report in pdf ,i just want to know is it possible to achieve ,i just need some suggestions and references that would really help me in achieveing this particular task thnaks in advance

Hi Raju9789, SQL Server Reporting Services provides access to the full functionality of the report server through the Report Server Web service. The Report Server Web service is an XML Web service with a SOAP API. The Web service provides two endpoints - one for report execution and one for report management - with methods that expose the functionality of the report server and enable you to create custom tools for any part of the report life cycle.
