Pass photo from AD to portal FIM
hi everyone I have a doubt I wonder if I can get a picture of a user from active directory and pass FIM portal, if you can I would like to know how I can do. Thanks in advance Deshacer cambios

As long as it's a JPEG, you can easily flow it in as a normal attribute. Just map the attribute in AD (thumbnailPhoto usually) to the photo attribute in the metaverse with your inbound sync rule. Configure an export flow rule on the FIM MA from the metaverse photo attribute to the FIM photo attribute.My Book - Active Directory, 4th Edition My Blog - www.briandesmond.com

You'd have to use an advanced import flow rule or a workflow to convert the file format, I expect. You can try importing one and see what happens, though.My Book - Active Directory, 4th Edition My Blog - www.briandesmond.com

Antoher option I have used is to use SSIS to import the images to a SQL table and then import them to FIM and on to AD Look at http://microsoft-ssis.blogspot.se/2011/08/importing-images-with-ssis.html for some ideas on how this can be done.
