Partitioning/capture for bitlocker
Hello,
I have a question about partitioning/capturing for bitlocker.
In my "Build and Capture" Task Sequence I create a single partition that I then capture.
In my Install Task Sequence I create:
A 100MB bootable partition with variable BOOTPART
A remaining space partition with variable OSPART
Then I install OS image to OSPART.
Everything seems to work well. After the installation Windows is smart enough to place the bootcritical files on the 100MB partition though i haven't specified it. My question is if this still is a bad way to do it, and if it can lead to future problems. Should
I instead create two partitions during in the Capture-TS aswell and in the Install-TS apply OS from one index and apply data image from the other?

Found a good article
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2009592
However it doesn't explain why I should capture two partitions in the first place, when
quote:
"The Boot Manager is installed by the "Setup windows and ConfigMgr " task based on which partition is marked with the "Make this the boot partition " option."

You should not capture two partitions... The way you do it is correct.. The Master Image can only be of one partition, so you must create the extra bitlocker partition during deployment

Thanks for answering,
Ok, but if I only create/capture one partition (as I do now), then the image will only have one index, and that would make the steps in the KB-article obsolete/inaccurate.
