Hi All, I have a WSS 3.0 SP2 env, for a routine check I had visited ULS logs and there I found below error something related to permission issue. PermissionMask check failed. asking for 0x00000005, have 0x00000000 PermissionMask check failed. asking for 0x00000015, have 0x00000000 PermissionMask check failed. asking for 0x00000041, have 0x00000000 These above issues are repeating at regular interval. Can you provide a bit more details on how your site permissions are set up? Are the subsites, lists and libraries inhereting permission from site level or they have unique permission. PermissionMask field can be found in list/library schema's. If this field is missing then you might get access denied while editing list items. Do you know any such behaviour on your environment?
